I believe very much in the statement "Practice Makes Perfect" except that no one will be perfect but I think what it is getting at is that if you practice at something long enough, you will get better! Last week I went away to this school convention where all these other schools like mine go and compete against each other in lots of different events. I didn't enter very much but I went full out on my art. I entered a pastels drawing, a pencil drawing and an acrylics painting. I think I did pretty well getting 1st in my pastels and my painting and 3rd in my pencils. I am still super over the moon! But I think I was more shocked at my pastels really. You see I have been going to this convention for 4 years and this was my last one. It really has played a major part in my life and has encouraged me to really go for it. So yes this is a little time line thing of my progress over the years for the is competition~

So yes if anyone from ESC is reading this I'd just like to say thank you so much for the opportunities to compete and for making that one week in the last 4 years awesome! I've learnt so much. To the future my friends!! I can't wait.
OH and on Thursday I finally got round to accepting my place at college for September!! I'm going to be studying fine art, another art course (I think it's called art, craft and design) and psychology but I'm thinking about doing a BTEC in art and design but I am not sure yet. Decisions decisions.
OH AND check out these little button thingies I made on the side bar. Arn't they quaint? They are so you can skip my boring posts and shizz <3
